Access Your Subtitles

Eventually though, you’ll want to go to Transcriptions.
Tap on the video you want to download the subtitles for. When the new window appears, choose Other Features – Translation & Transcription.
If you want to continue using YouTube Studio, you’ll need to choose the “Use YouTube Studio” option. ..

You can technically edit the subtitles inside YouTube, but I wouldn’t recommend it. I would instead suggest you download the text file and edit it on your computer. ..
