NEET 2020 and Class XII Board preparation tips
1. The syllabus
Know what you need to know. Get the NEET syllabus for 2020, have an idea of how much of the topics are covered within the Class XII board syllabus, and pay extra heed to those topics which are not common.
2. Refresh your basics
The foundation you have on the basics is quite far-reaching as you move through life. How strongly you know the basics will decide how much further you can learn. With NEET 2020, it is essential that you have the topics of class 11th covered properly if you hope to have a proper understanding of class 12th topics.
3. Study Schedule
Assort your time smartly, once the dates for NEET 2020 and 12th Board exams are out, prioritize your time accordingly. Make sure to spend time for the former exam without losing concentration on the latter. Pay extra attention to the topics that are not common for the XII Boards and NEET, as you will have to go through the common topics twice.
4. Credible Study Material
With a wide variety of books being available online, finding the right book which suits your style of learning with the right information required within the syllabus of the exams is important. Workout previous year question papers and sample papers, get accustomed to the exam pattern and optimize your studying technique so you can give your best for the exam.
5. Work on your weak points
With a need to prepare for two exams, your skill set needs to be optimized for a larger set of topics. Figure out where you are strong and where you are weak and accordingly, spend more time to build upon your weak points.
6. Sample Papers
Test yourself, analyze how much you’ve prepared and seen where that gets you to during an exam. Once you do a practice test you will know where you lie, analyzing where your skills are strong and weak, you can shift more of your time where you need work.
