Vivo X90 Pro+ Series Design
Well, when it comes to the design language of the X90 Pro+ 5G, the top-tier flagship phone carries the same design as its other siblings! The only noticeable difference between the three flagships is the bigger rear camera bump of the X90 Pro+ since it has a bigger camera lens. At the front, the X90 Pro+ 5G has a curved display with minimal bezels all around & a chin at the bottom; there’s a centered punch-hole front camera. The power button & volume rockers are on the right, and the speaker grille is at the top and bottom. The Type-C port is at the bottom as well. The back has a textured design that looks premium, and there’s a circular camera setup on the top left in a Square shaped island, the Flash is on the top right, and the Zeiss logo is in line with the LED flash. Vivo X90 Pro+ 5G Specifications
Coming to the top of the line in the Vivo X90 5G series is the X90 Pro+ 5G. The flagship smartphone has a 6.78 inches curved LTPO 4.0 AMOLED display with 120Hz re-refresh rate, QHD+ resolution, 300Hz touch sampling rate, and 1,800 nits peak brightness. The display uses a 1,440Hz high-frequency PVM system for dimming and supports Dolby Vision. As for the chipset, The X90 Pro+ 5G will be equipped with the recently announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset coupled with LDDR5X RAM & UFS 4.0 Storage. It will run on Origin OS based on Android 13. The flagship handset comes in two colors – China Red & Original Black. There’s also a large 8,900mm² Vapour chamber to keep the chipset cool for stable performance. Onto the cameras, The X90 Pro+ 5G has a 1-inch sensor, and Vivo isn’t the first one with the Sony 1-inch sensor, but Vivo has made tweaks to make it unique. The lens has a high-quality glass element with an Abbe number (The higher the number, the less light dispersion). Also, the lens is coated with Zeiss T* formulation, reducing glare and ghosting. It has a 77% larger photosensitive area compared to the 1/1.3″ of its predecessor, i.e., Vivo X80 Pro. There’s a 50MP 1-inch Sony IMX 989 & f/1.75 aperture, a Secondary 50MP Portrait camera with Sony IMX 758 with f/1.6 aperture, a 48MP Ultra-wide camera with Sony IMX598 and f/2.2 aperture, and lastly, a 64MP OmniVision OV64B40 telephoto camera with f/3.5 aperture and there’s also Vivo’s V2 ISP for image processing and low-light shots. The cameras have a laser auto-focus system & OIS. The X90 Pro+ 5G can record video up to 8K 30fps, 14-bit RAW video, Zeiss Natural color mode 2.0, Dolby Vision, etc. On the front, it has a 32MP shooter for taking selfies. Lastly, The X90 Pro+ 5G has a 4,700mAh battery, which is lesser than both the X90 5G & the X90 Pro 5G, interestingly. Nonetheless, X90 Pro+ supports higher fast charging at 80W and 50W wireless charging. The handset can be fully charged in just 33 minutes. Also, it is IP68-rated for dust & water resistance. Other features of the X90 Pro+ 5G include Bluetooth 5.3, Stereo speakers, An in-display fingerprint scanner, etc. The X90 Pro Plus weighs 220 grams & measures 164.×75.3×9.7mm.
